1.Online application on jobs.ubs.com β Apply with a CV; UBS says cover letters are not requested in most regions. Application caps differ by region: one UK plus one EMEA role per academic year, a maximum of three in the US, Switzerland and APAC, up to five per month in Poland.
2.Four online assessments, auto-sent, seven days β Verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, inductive-logical reasoning and UBS Culture Match, assigned by business area. Timed reasoning tests plus an untimed situational judgment test β not games. No retakes, and missing the window withdraws your application.
3.Pre-recorded video interview β UBS: "After passing our online assessments (and if youβre a good fit), you might receive a link to record your video interview." UBS adds that its people, not AI, make the decisions.
Practice recorded answers
4.Final assessment day β Described officially as a series of interviews, virtual or in person, with senior leaders. Candidates in investment banking describe a superday of back-to-back interviews.
What comes after the tests
5.Offer, background and reference checks β The India and Poland careers pages list background checks and reference verification as the final step. The global early-careers pages do not spell this out.
How you pass

Name the prior expectation. Explain the reference point that made the event informative.
Identify the first-order effect. Show the most direct impact on earnings assumptions or valuation.
Add a second-order effect. Consider confidence, financing conditions, competition, or demand where relevant.
