A reported prompt asks for a recent M&A deal you have been following, so having one deal you can discuss with a point of view matters more than technical modeling depth here.

Evercore's video screen no longer scores facial expressions or eye contact. HireVue confirmed in January 2021 that it dropped visual analysis, so visual analysis is not used.

Evercore is a smaller, elite-boutique process than a bulge-bracket bank, so its HireVue reads as tighter and more firm-specific than a generic finance template.
