EY assessment tests, or One assessment, are a series of online evaluations designed by Cappfinity to measure a candidate’s strengths, cognitive abilities, situational judgement, and alignment with EY’s values and working style.
The EY online tests that will be taken during the selection process:
Numerical Reasoning Test
The EY numerical reasoning test evaluates a candidate’s skills and ability to analyse, interpret, and make factual conclusions based on numerical data provided. It is often recorded and can last 20 to 30 minutes.
Verbal Reasoning Test
The EY verbal reasoning test evaluates your ability to understand, interpret, and analyse written information. It often lasts 15 to 30 minutes and assesses your qualitative skills that will be required in the company.
Situational Judgement Test
The EY situational judgement test assesses how you would respond to realistic workplace situations you might encounter at EY. It measures your judgement, decision-making, and alignment with EY’s values, such as integrity, teamwork, and client focus.
Job Simulation Test
The EY job simulation test includes 14 scenario-based questions that reflect situations you could face in the workplace. You will complete a mix of tasks, such as ranking responses, writing short answers, and recording video responses. This EY Cappfinity test takes about an hour and must be completed in a single sitting.
Strengths-Based Assessment
The EY strengths-based assessment, as the name implies, tests your strengths. Unlike traditional assessments that focus on aptitude or competencies, this approach identifies a candidate’s strengths and how they can be applied in the workplace.
